Infosys is seeking a Cognos Power BI Platform Admin
The Infosys Data and Analytics unit is dedicated to helping clients adopt an approach to ubiquitously create value from data. We move them away from the conventional use case or point solution-led approach towards the path to building industrialized capabilities to monetize data. We begin by creating an integrated blueprint of opportunities unique to their business for data-led value creation. Thereon we chart the roadmap to incrementally build the capabilities they need to deliver on the blueprint. This involves Modernizing the coreto prepare for the digital transformation building intelligent systemsthat interpret data cognitively to discover new signals and connect the unconnected and Leveraging Artificial Intelligenceto nurture a learnable and adaptable enterprise that evolves at digital speed.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofMelbourne FL/ Rochester NY/ Clifton NJ Greenville TX Salt Lake City UT/ Richardson TX/ Raleigh NC/ Indianapolis IN/ Hartford CT/Tempe AZ or be willing to relocate to the area.
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 2years of relevant Information Technology experience.
- In order to comply with legal requirements this role is limited to U.S. persons as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents and certain refugees and asylees.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Cognos Analytics administration including server architecture gateways and security models.
- Deep expertise in managing the Power BI Service Power BI Gateways and tenant-level settings.
- Strong knowledge of user authentication methods (e.g. Active Directory SAML) and their integration with BI platforms.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows Linux) shell scripting and server-side troubleshooting.
- Experience with underlying database technologies (e.g. SQL Server Oracle PostgreSQL).
- Strong experience working in an AMS project model with a focus on platform stability incident management and controlled change.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working in a regulated environment particularly for US defense or government clients.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure issues.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Estimated annual compensation range for candidates based in NJ NY are as indicated below:
New Jersey: $<64438> to $<94502>
New York: $<64162> to $<83471>
