PRTR is partnering with a global IT consulting firm currently seeking a skilled BI Power Engineer. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI and performance analysis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong proficiency in English communication is essential as the role involves collaboration across international teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to collect business requirements for data reporting and visualization.
- Enhance Power BI dashboard performance to ensure quick and dependable insights.
- Utilize data from the GCP data warehouse to produce reports that aid in business decision-making and performance tracking.
- Oversee and support data analytics platforms.
- Keep current with new features and advancements in Power BI including GitHub integration Composite Models Power BI Service Pipelines and Licensing updates.
- Perform performance diagnostics on Power BI data models and Google BigQuery tables.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a BI Developer or in data warehouse architecture.
- Proficient in Power BI DirectQuery and familiar with Composite Model concepts.
- Strong technical background in Power BI Power Query performance tuning and DAX.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a sharp eye for detail and a collaborative mindset.
- Clear career growth mindset with a desire to progress into a Team Lead role.
- Effective communicator with fluency in English; French language skills are a plus.
- (Optional) Possession of a Power BI certification is considered an advantage.
