- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer (Electrical Power Distribution Control and Automation Systems)
- Position Title: QA Engineer (Electrical Engineering)
- Working Location: Tuas Crescent (Transportation Provided)
- Working Hours: Monday Friday 8.15am 5.45pm
- Salary Package: Up to $3500 AWS Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming and outgoing parts according to specifications and procedures.
- Accurately record and manage quality data.
- Identify and report quality issues to management for corrective action.
- Segregate non-conforming products to avoid mix-ups before final decisions are made.
- Approve or reject parts based on quality standards.
- Conduct routine tests and checks on switchboards manufactured in-house.
- Test and commission switchboards on-site or on vessels ensuring customer satisfaction and handling any quality complaints or warranty issues.
- Manage official tests requiring the presence of surveyors consultants or customers.
- Assist the QA Manager in achieving quality goals and responsibilities.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the QA Department.
- Strictly follow safety protocols for all activities.
- Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and functional.
- Proactively prevent product non-conformity.
- Recommend implement and check the effectiveness of solutions for identified problems.
- Oversee the resolution process for non-conforming products.
- Adhere to Quality Management System procedures to maintain compliance and control.
- Carry out other tasks as directed by supervisors.

- Minimum ITE/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in quality control or assurance preferably in electrical or switchboard manufacturing.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and adherence to safety and quality standards.
