About the role

The role will provide high quality business and administrative services to support effective and efficient executive support program implementation and project delivery.

Role accountabilities include:

  • Collaborative support as part of a small business support team to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs activities and customer and client services across the Community and Economic Development Network.
  • Provision of receptionist and financial administration support to the Network as required.
  • Support to the Executive Officer including in the distribution and collation of Elected Member and Lord Mayor requests and correspondence and complaints handling.
  • Production and distribution of meeting and workshop documents and templates as needed.
  • Information management including maintenance of the City of Hobarts Information Management System.

About you

You are highly proficient in the use of word processing and formatting tools spreadsheets website content management information systems and database applications.You bring:

  • Certificate IV or higher in Business/Administration coupled with significant relevant experience in a similar administrative role.
  • A current Drivers Licence
  • Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
  • Demonstrated experience with standard financial management support practices and the capacity to learn organisational specific financial management systems.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management and attention to detail skills.
