Job Description
Are you passionate about providing exceptional service in a beautiful team-oriented setting Fords Colony Country Club is seeking friendly professional and energetic Banquet Servers to join our hospitality team. As a Banquet Server you will help create memorable dining experiences for our members and guests by delivering outstanding food and beverage service during special events banquets and private functions.
Compensation:$3.00/hr service charges
What Youll Be Doing:
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival with a warm professional demeanor.
- Present menus describe daily specials and answer questions about food and beverage offerings.
- Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders ensuring all details are correct.
- Professionally present and pour wines/champagnes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state liquor laws including verifying guest age.
- Monitor tables throughout service refilling beverages and anticipating guest needs.
- Assist with clearing resetting tables and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Process payments operate cash registers and provide accurate change/receipts.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth timely service.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and courteously referring to management when necessary.
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive service-driven environment.
What Were Looking For:
- Prior restaurant or banquet serving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of state liquor laws and responsible alcohol service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Dependable adaptable and a strong team player.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
