Role: Privacy Advisor
will be responsible for providing technical support on implementing the data protection compliance framework within the perimeter he/she is responsible i.e. at Ayvens Portugal level.
Hybrid function: 3 days in the office and the possibility of stay 2 in home office.
In his/her capacity the key mandate of the Privacy Advisor includes:
- Raise awareness among employees on the subject of data protection in order to facilitate the identification and management of potential situations and/or risks in projects and processes.
- Assist Ayvens Portugal in implementing a data protection compliance program.
- Assist in identifying and assessing Ayvens data protection risks and provide advice on ensuring that internal processes and projects comply with the requirements of applicable laws best practices and internal policies of the Ayvens Group with the aim of minimizing the occurrence of situations that jeopardize Ayvenss reputation.
- Investigate resolve and report data protection incidents taking measures to prevent them from happening again with the aim of minimizing the occurrence of situations that jeopardize Ayvenss reputation.
Skills Requirements
Hard skills
Subject Matter Expert on Data Protection and cross related regulations.
Experience in providing advice on data protection best practices.
Previous experience of working within the three lines of defense model
Ability to develop and maintain valuable stakeholder relationships.
A strong desire to contribute to implementing data protection principles in processes.
Soft skills
Enthusiastically creates awareness on data protection topics.
Have a critical oversight on the group data protection standards.
Influences best practices on data protection to turn it a value added to business.
Uses a creative approach on explaining technical topics to various types of audience.
Uses their personal style to influence and drive good outcomes.
Fluent in portuguese good written and communication in english
