About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Lab Support Staff member to join a reputable pharmaceutical and biotechnology organization based in Bilthoven.
This is an exciting opportunity for early-career professionals or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a regulated lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain laboratory workspaces equipment and supplies
- Receive and process incoming samples to assess suitability for testing
- Assist analysts in preparing samples for testing
- Discard samples following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team guidance
- Accurately label specimens and ensure correct distribution to the relevant departments
- Maintain thorough and accurate lab records and documentation
- Support internal quality control efforts as directed by the Laboratory Manager
Key Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Lab Support or Lab Assistant
- Must hold citizenship in a European country
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
- Good organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
Desirable Attributes:
- Motivated to build a career in pharmaceuticals or clinical research
- Comfortable working in a regulated laboratory setting
- Being able to start on short notice is a plus
