Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the selection process for suppliers developing and implementing the commodity strategy for assigned commodities while participating in defining and implementing purchasing panel policies.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers negotiating contracts ensuring their performance aligns with our standards and organizing and managing the supplier panel to support our strategic goals.
- Driving and managing productivity action plans to ensure effective cost-sharing with suppliers.
- Monitoring suppliers to ensure they meet quality and delivery standards implementing corrective action plans in case of any issues such as insolvencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- At least 5 years of experience in purchasing within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply portfolios market research market dynamics and trends.
- Expertise in sourcing strategies and supplier management.
- Experience in managing a variety of commodities.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English.
