Job Description
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City National Airport is looking for an Engineer Supervisor to join their property operations team! This beautiful 269-suite hotel is less than two miles from Reagan National Airport within a mile of the Pentagon City Crystal City Shops and the Pentagon City Metro station.
As an Engineer Supervisor you will assist in overseeing the functionality and safety of the facility in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You will lead a team of four union engineers and one union painter! Please note that it is a requirement of this position that you have or can obtain in 12 months or less both a 3rd Class Stationary Engineer License as well as a CFC Universal Certification.
Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work AM PM and Overnight shifts as needed as well as be on call for emergencies any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed
Pay Rate: $29.90 per hour

What will I be doing
As an Engineer Supervisor you will assist in overseeing the functionality and safety of the facility in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specific responsibilities of the position may include:
- Supervises and performs the duties of the Property Operations/Engineering staff
- Maintain the physical functionality of the facility including guest rooms public space and heart-of-the-house areas
- Assists Director/Manager in training supervising scheduling and evaluating department staff
- Ensures staff compliance with all safety/loss prevention standards and regulations
