About Your Workplace
Successful management and implementation of Paid-Owned-Earned (POE) planning tasks with a focus on three specific areas:
1: Design & development of central P.O.E ecosystem with focus on all POE touchpoints in close collaboration with all relevant functions.
2: Creation & delivery of modern communications planning techniques (central development) eg. Frameworks models approaches.
3: Requirements led success & optimization programm covering all POE touchpoints.
Key responsibilities:
POE ECOSYSTEM DEVELOPMENT
- Define holistic POE ecosystem (central) to cover all customer needs & communication topics / touchpoints
- Set clear role for touchpoint guidance across ecosystem (through collaboration with Media Social Digital & Content teams)
- Provide guidance for Countries (VGs) who adopt a POE model (how to activate the role of specific touchpoints)
- Integrate distributor channels into all POE ecosystem development
COMMS PLANNING TECHNIQUES
- Embed a Communications Planning mindset into Business Units (BUs) and Country (VG) teams ( approach to all touchpoints that leverages strength of touchpoint to deliver against a set goal)
- Lead development of communication approaches that address different customer purchase journeys across major Miele categories
- Embed operational communication planning tasks into media & marketing process (eg. Role for Comms) working closely with Countries (VGs)
SUCCESS & OPTIMISATION
- In collaboration with Media team develop framework / approach for guidance in how to assess communications performance data and interpret action points.
What success will look like in two years:
- POE ecosystem defined with clear role for touchpoints.
- Comms Planning process embedded into central marketing operations.
- Definitive approach to interpreting comms success & optimization.
Key performance measures for position:
- Contributes to increase in brand KPIs / health.
- Embedding of single holistic POE ecosystem.
- Integrated success & optimization approach.
Competencies/Skills for position:
- Bachelor/Master (Philosophy History Marketing Economics or equivalent).
- 5 years experience as Communications / Media / Ecosystem planner.
- Some in-house experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong collaboration and alignment skills.
- Ability to put customer first in all decision making.
- High business acumen & strategic mindset.
- Experience developing integrated planning work.
- Ability to operationalize clear communications planning processes.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Self starting optimistic solution focused does not stumble when faced with challenges.
