About the Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager-Tax to join our Wiley team in Singapore. Reporting to the Senior Director International Tax the Senior Manager- Tax will focus on corporate income tax requirements within the APAC region including direct and indirect tax computations payments audit defense system/process improvements transfer pricing and M&A support.
How you will make an impact:
- Coordination of tax compliance with APAC business unit financial controllers and local tax advisors
- Review of quarterly tax provisions for external disclosure
- Support corporate income and GST tax audits
- Manage transfer pricing policies and related intercompany agreements within APAC
- Participate in the companys worldwide tax strategies
- Integration of tax compliance of acquired companies
What we look for:
- 7 -10 years well rounded experience in Corporate Taxation
- Tax accounting knowledge and experience specifically ASC 740 FIN 48 and SOX compliance
- Direct tax and indirect tax compliance experience
- Strong analytical and computer skills (Onesource Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Management capabilities to grow and assume additional responsibilities
- Ability to cross train and support talented tax team building effort
- Ability to enhance accuracy and efficiency to the tax compliance processes

The range below represents Wileys good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the UK Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies.
