Description
New Energy are on the hunt for an Electrical Project Manager to lead the charge on our renewable energy projects. If youre a results-driven leader who thrives in high-energy environments this is your chance to make an impact.
What Youll Do:
- Drive project delivery On Time In Full and to Specification (OTIFIS) while ensuring safety quality and budget compliance.
- Build and lead a high-performing team ensuring competency engagement and accountability.
- Oversee all aspects of electrical project executionfrom recruitment and training to contractor management and resource allocation.
- Maintain rigorous health & safety standards promoting a proactive risk management culture.
- Ensure workflow efficiency quality control and timely completion of electrical scope including pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Keep stakeholders informed with clear reporting and communication escalating critical issues as needed.
- Monitor electrical budgets control costs and flag potential overruns.
What Youll Bring:
- Proven experience managing electrical projects in renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure.
- Strong leadership strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities while keeping teams aligned and motivated.
Skills And Experiences
What Were Looking For:
- Current NZ EWRB Certification
- 5 Years Project Management experience
- Proficiency in MS Excel Word PowerPoint and Project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Financial acumen (budgeting forecasting cost control).
- Flexibility to work away from home regularly and for extended periods of time. Travel for work comprises a significant part of this role (90-100% of the time if project is out of residing region).
- Current Drivers License - Class 1 Full.
