Our client is a specialist in logistics and warehouse services.
Job description:
- Assist in the design and layout of the warehouse to optimize storage space and workflow efficiency.
- Ensure proper signage and labeling systems are in place.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory control systems. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Oversee the receiving storing and shipping of goods.
- Manage inventory rotation to minimize product obsolescence.
- Team management.
- Manage and maintain warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks).
- Schedule regular maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor warehouse expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role from electronic parts manufacturing.
- Experience in setting up new warehouses will be given a priority.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and software.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with warehouse management software (e.g. SAP Oracle).
