You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for driving analysis coordination and delivery of strategic banking initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with various entities and functions to ensure alignment manage change and deliver solutions that meet both global and local needs. The Senior BA will act as a bridge between business and technical teams with a strong focus on data governance third-party management and risk reduction.
Business Analysis & Data Governance:
Conduct detailed analysis and scoping in the areas of data management governance and third-party product integration.
Work closely with MDM and governance officers to align on data governance and administration principles.
Ensure compliance with internal governance policies and regulatory standards.
Risk Management & Strategic Alignment:
Identify and address common challenges across regions developing solutions that reduce risk while considering local market specificities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management:
Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
Facilitate workshops presentations and meetings to gather feedback and align stakeholders.
Documentation & Delivery:
Produce clear and comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Information Systems or related field (Masters preferred).
5 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in banking or financial services.
Proven experience in managing complex multi-entity projects within an international banking context.
Strong understanding of data governance master data management (MDM) and data administration principles.
Familiarity with banking operations products and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrated expertise in change management and strategic project delivery.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across global and local teams.
Proficiency with project management and business analysis tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence Visio MS Project).
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of third-party risk management frameworks.
Ability to balance global strategic objectives with regional operational requirements.
Must be physically in Portugal and a work at the office 3/5 days a week in Lisbon or Porto.
