Information & Engagements Manager ROLE We need an experienced Information & Engagements Manager at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Research & Development (R&D) - Medical Research and Development Command (MRDC). DHA R&D-MRDC is a global command supporting medical research for warfighters unique requirements. This division provides strategic communications public affairs marketing and multimedia support to the this role you will lead visit and engagement operations manage formal command taskers coordinate SMEs and stakeholders and keep a living engagements calendar with timely after-action reporting. RESPONSIBILITIES
Organize requests and invitations for command visits with senior military Congressional personnel and private-sector partners
Design visits secure post locations and create agenda outlines for showcased programs and products
Research issues solicit inputs conduct strategic analyses and implement solutions to achieve objectives
Develop command taskers and serve as the tasking-system POC
Manage communications between customers and SMEs from initial contact to final outcome
Distribute official event correspondence (invitations agendas registrations hotel details reminders)
Manage and coordinate meetings vendors attendee comms on-site registration check-in and protocol
Conduct pre-visit preparation and day-of setup and teardown
Develop talking points and with PAO develop and clear presentation materials
Quickly draft social media posts/short blurbs tied to visits/engagements
Assist with invite creation and lists for large events; support lunches/coffee name tags packets
Provide support for conferences and trade shows
Maintain a visit calendar and an after-action (lessons learned) file
Generate and share original content on social channels; serve as on-site supervisor/manager for contract staff
Support protocol functions as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of five (5) years of experience aligned with job duties
Familiarization with AI Tools preferred
EDUCATON
Degree in communication-related fields - preferred
