Our client is a global automotive parts manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Serving as the primary technical liaison for customers addressing technical questions and requirements during the RFQ process and product development phases.
- Actively participating in S0 meetings for assigned customers within the same region.
- Contributing to the offer phase as a core/expert team member conducting feasibility analyses and suggesting project modifications when needed to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Assisting in preparing and presenting technical meetings to customers.
- Reviewing and verifying final CAD data developed and approved by the RA product engineer ensuring compatibility with the vehicle packaging environment and handling customer release.
- Actively participating in Design Reviews especially during Design Review 1 to ensure a smooth handover of information from the RFQ phase.
- Conducting pre-evaluation of customer technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience with plastic materials and manufacturing technologies.
- Experience working with automotive customers.
- Proficiency in 3D software design.
- Knowledge of OEM processes and general requirements.
- Strong English communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to support production development and collaborate closely with automotive customers sometimes requiring on-site support.
- Reporting Line: Reports to the project team in China and works closely with the sales team.
