(Sales)SolutionEngineer

An integral part of the sales team helping to convey the technical aspects of the ICRON products and services clearly and compellingly to potential customers.

Driving the pre-sales process by bridging the gap between technical specifications and customer benefits to help define the future in terms of systems and processes.

The ideal candidate will have a flair for technical subjects but also an ability to analyze and communicate at multiple levels within the supply chain eco-system.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical advisor for customers throughout their journey with ICRON including design implementation and operation.
  • Buildstrongrelationshipswithcustomersunderstandingtheirbusinessgoalsandprovideguidanceandsupporttohelpthemsucceed.
  • Draftandrespondtorequests(RFxs)withtechnicalinsightsanddomainexpertise.
  • Demonstratesolutionvaluetocustomersthroughproductdemonstrationsbusinesscasecreationandproofofconcepts.
  • Monitorandreportonsalesengagementsmakerecommendationsandcontributetoimprovementsoftoolsandprocesses.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role focussed on supply chain ideally involving the design implementation and management of Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems (APS).
  • NativeproficiencyinGermanandEnglishisnecessary.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes data modelling (UML) optimisation techniques BI and systems integration.
  • Industryfocus:KnowledgeofindustrydomainssoftwaretechnologyandmarkettrendstoworkwiththeICRONproductteamstodriveadditionalvalueintosoftwaresolutionsthroughsuggestedenhancements.
  • Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskillstofacilitaterelationshipswithprospectspartnersandinternalteams.
  • Strong project management skills to drive solution design and delivery of customer value-enhancing activities such as demos and PoC from concept to execution.
  • Experienceindevelopingsales-orientedsolutiondocumentationsuchasRFxandstatementsofwork
  • Training and Coaching Experience: Ability to train clients partners and team members on supply chain solutions. Provide coaching to partners to educate them about the ICRON solutions and implementation best practices.
  • Self-motivation: Capable of working autonomously or seeking advice from experts when necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Bachelors degree in operational research software development or a related field; engineering MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
