(Sales)SolutionEngineer
An integral part of the sales team helping to convey the technical aspects of the ICRON products and services clearly and compellingly to potential customers.
Driving the pre-sales process by bridging the gap between technical specifications and customer benefits to help define the future in terms of systems and processes.
The ideal candidate will have a flair for technical subjects but also an ability to analyze and communicate at multiple levels within the supply chain eco-system.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical advisor for customers throughout their journey with ICRON including design implementation and operation.
- Buildstrongrelationshipswithcustomersunderstandingtheirbusinessgoalsandprovideguidanceandsupporttohelpthemsucceed.
- Draftandrespondtorequests(RFxs)withtechnicalinsightsanddomainexpertise.
- Demonstratesolutionvaluetocustomersthroughproductdemonstrationsbusinesscasecreationandproofofconcepts.
- Monitorandreportonsalesengagementsmakerecommendationsandcontributetoimprovementsoftoolsandprocesses.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role focussed on supply chain ideally involving the design implementation and management of Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems (APS).
- NativeproficiencyinGermanandEnglishisnecessary.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes data modelling (UML) optimisation techniques BI and systems integration.
- Industryfocus:KnowledgeofindustrydomainssoftwaretechnologyandmarkettrendstoworkwiththeICRONproductteamstodriveadditionalvalueintosoftwaresolutionsthroughsuggestedenhancements.
- Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskillstofacilitaterelationshipswithprospectspartnersandinternalteams.
- Strong project management skills to drive solution design and delivery of customer value-enhancing activities such as demos and PoC from concept to execution.
- Experienceindevelopingsales-orientedsolutiondocumentationsuchasRFxandstatementsofwork
- Training and Coaching Experience: Ability to train clients partners and team members on supply chain solutions. Provide coaching to partners to educate them about the ICRON solutions and implementation best practices.
- Self-motivation: Capable of working autonomously or seeking advice from experts when necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
- Bachelors degree in operational research software development or a related field; engineering MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
