What this job involves:
We have an onsite role and are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated ability to work solo experienced general handyman with exposure to supervisory roles.
The role will entail 80% out in the field doing site general repairs doors façade and vehicle cleaning painting inspections reporting and 20% understanding the site requirements and operational needs.
Snapshot of the role:
Collaborate with Operations Manager to deliver technical solutions and asset maintenance
Mitigate risk and enhance compliance across all facilities
Supervise work teams and subcontractors monitoring progress workmanship quality and safety compliance
Predominantly field-based role including:
- General repairs and maintenance (handyperson work doors façade decking vehicle upkeep painting cleanliness)
- Regular site inspections minor repairs and plant/equipment condition reporting
- Scheduled/unscheduled tasks and forward maintenance planning
- Performance reporting and identifying service delivery gaps and improvements
Identify process improvements to enhance cost quality safety and customer service performance
Work closely with Operations Manager to ensure service delivery throughout all site operations phases
Deliver customer-focused technical solutions and enhance service quality standards
Support building inspection programmes and subcontractor performance
Perform duties with regard to skills training and safety requirements
Identify manage and communicate hazards to stakeholders in line with health and safety protocols
Ensure all personnel are fit and competent for assigned tasks
Report incidents accidents and events to stakeholders promptly per health and safety protocols
Manage subcontractor and supplier engagement and performance
Maintain strong professional relationships demonstrating initiative drive and positive commitment
Support JLL Management and contractors to ensure seamless customer service
What we are looking for:
As a Handyperson/Facilities Coordinator youll need strong technical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills to manage building operations independently while delivering exceptional client service and maintaining punctual well-presented and reliable professional standards at all times.
