FamilySearch International the largest genealogy organization in the world is looking for a 6-month temporary Events Communications employee. This person will join the RootsTech marketing team assisting with the development and execution of multi-channel event marketing strategies to drive awareness engagement and demand of its annual RootsTech Conference and other FamilySearch efforts. RootsTech is an annual genealogy conference that hosts millions of people virtually in over 20 languages. The event is enhanced by an in-person event in Salt Lake City Utah.
This individual will be assisting the engagement team with strategizing on drafting and executing many different communication tactics in many different channels. This role will work closely with the event marketing manager to execute on communication strategies and plans.
Must be available to stay onsite for RootsTech in Salt Lake City UT from March 2nd-7th 2026.
5-7 years marketing experience required.
