Job Description
The Operations Team Manager I role will lead and provide guidance and direction to our Corporate Actions team. This role will also work closely with senior leaders in the business to ensure consistent and superior customer this position you will:
You will be responsible for supervising daily operations activities and ensuring our staff is properly developed to carry out their daily responsibilities and effectively service business partners. You will interact with associates through formal and informal means to ensure we are creating a productive engaged workforce. You will also provide a high level of expertise to business partners and help them provide TUCE to UMB customers. You can expect a fast-paced environment with unpredictable scenarios while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to client needs. Our team is motivated to be self-driven and enjoy the challenge of learning new skills while controlling the progression of their career.
The Corporate Actions team is about creating strong connections amongst its associates to develop and maintain a positive working experience. Associates are supported and encouraged to work with their manager to develop roadmaps for opportunity within Operations and beyond.
How youll spend your time:
- You will use problem solving skills to determine what action needs to be taken to resolve issues for our clients and team situations.
- You will need strong communication skills to interact with associates to ensure productivity and engagement is present throughout the team.
- You will have to have proactive thinking to develop controls which reduce risk to the organization.
- You will use your leadership skills to coach and develop team members
Were excited to talk with you if:
- You have 5 years of experience in Bank operations
- You have 3 years of experience with banking and/or banking operations
- You have earned an Associates degree
Bonus Points if you:
- You have corporate actions or securities services experience
Compensation Range:
$51480.00 - $99330.00The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMBs standard for this role but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location experience level and other job-related addition this range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
