Our client is one of the leading food and beverage manufacturing companies.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of R&D Manager to manage NPD (New Product Development) of beverage products.
Job Description
- Designing and planning the details of raw materials formulations production processes and testing methods including physical chemical and microbiological testing as well as shelf-life testing to meet food safety standards.
- Implementing policies and developing product plans that align with customer requirements and the organizations business goals.
- Calculating production costs reviewing and improving product development and optimizing costs.
- Collaborating with the Quality Assurance team to test and resolve issues related to products and raw materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Food Science or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in research and product development in beverage products.
- Knowledge and experience in food safety standards such as HACCP GMP or ISO 22000.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and cost-calculation skills.
- Creativity and the ability to present innovative ideas for product development.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Good command of English.
