What Youll Do
As the Regional Vice President for Japan you will lead DoubleVerifys expansion and operations in one of the most important and dynamic advertising markets in the world. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of APAC you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that drives revenue growth deepens client engagement and elevates DVs presence and reputation across the Japan region.
In this strategic leadership role you will oversee all aspects of the business in Japanfrom sales and client success to partnerships and market development. You will work closely with regional and global teams to ensure that DoubleVerifys suite of digital media measurement verification and performance solutions are effectively positioned to meet the needs of leading brands agencies publishers and platforms.
This is a high-profile position where you will serve as the public face of DV Japan. You will represent the company externally at industry events with key partners and stakeholders and in media engagements. Internally you will play a critical role in building a strong performance-driven culture and aligning local execution with DVs broader global strategy.
Your work will directly influence the success of our business in Japan and your leadership will be essential to accelerating adoption of DVs solutions in a fast-evolving competitive advertising technology landscape.

Driving commercial growth and customer success across the Japan region
Partnering with regional and global product marketing and operations teams to align strategy and execution
Representing DoubleVerify with clients partners industry groups and the media as our senior-most leader in Japan
Shaping market development plans to support long-term brand and revenue growth
Ensuring operational excellence and consistent execution against performance goals
Providing leadership coaching and mentorship to local team members
What Were Looking For
Business Growth Leader
Develop and execute DoubleVerifys Japan strategy aligned with regional and global priorities.
Build new business across advertisers agencies and platforms as well as retain existing client relationships.
Identify and capitalize on significant market opportunities to expand DVs product footprint and revenue.
Work with local and international stakeholders to introduce and develop new product offerings for the Japan market.
Market Representative and Brand Ambassador
Serve as the public face of DoubleVerify in Japan promoting the company at key industry fora trade shows and advertising client meetings.
Establish DV as a thought leader in media quality ad verification and performance measurement.
Build senior-level relationships with holding companies large brands publishers DSPs and regulatory bodies.
Team Builder and Cultural Champion
Build motivate and lead a high-performing cross-functional team with Sales Client Services and Marketing.
Develop a positive inclusive and performance-driven culture that embodies DoubleVerifys global values.
Attract and develop top talent enabling team members to grow their careers while delivering business outcomes.
Who You Are
Digital Experience: 15 years of ad-tech or digital platform sales experience or agency experience with at least 15 years in senior commercial or agency roles and a history of leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Regional Knowledge: Experience in spearheading and developing operations in Japan as a Representative Director or equivalent.
Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of Japans digital media and advertising landscape including key platforms buying models and market trends.
Ad-Tech Acumen: Deep knowledge of programmatic advertising verification attention metrics brand safety and measurement technologies.
Sales & Leadership: Proven ability to establish long-term strategies while achieving near-term goals to grow revenue and market share.
Education: Bachelors degree
Customer Centricity: Track record of establishing executive relationships with brands agencies and platforms and a strong consultative sales approach.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: Open to rolling up your sleeves in a fast-paced setting and driving initiatives from start to finish.
Bilingual Proficiency: Native Japanese and English speaker with strong communication and negotiation skills in both languages is required
Management Experience: Prior experience managing a team and coaching others is required
Location and Travel: This role is located in our Tokyo office and travel is expected on average around once a quarter.
The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors including qualifications for the role level skills experience and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
