Technologists at WorldQuant research design code test and deploy firmwide platforms and tooling while working collaboratively with researchers and portfolio managers. The Role:Our group is looking for a seasoned full stack developer to work on important internal services which are critical to the firm. Our team is also actively engaged in AI-related projects offering exciting opportunities to contribute to technologies. As a full stack developer you will have the opportunity to advance the architecture and develop complex frontend views to ensure optimal user experiences.
- Develop/Maintain internal web applications on premise
- Create/Present API design specifications
- Write well designed tested code
- Create and maintain software documentation
What Youll Bring:
- Expertise in Python/Java web frameworks
- Experience in HTML CSS JavaScript/TypeScript
- Demonstrated experience in developing scalable and robust software web applications
- Experience with popular JavaScript libraries and tools such as Material-UI Vite
- Working experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL MySQL)
- A solid background in Unix/Linux environment
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with Docker and containerized application
- Excellent debugging and problem solving
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes or distributed systems is a plus
