The Department of Adult & Juvenile Detention is accepting applications to fill one (1) full-time Administrative Specialist III(TLT/SDA) vacancy at the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center in Seattlewith theJuvenile Detention Division. This position will support work teams and their designated Project/Program Managers including the Alternative to Detention (ASD) program. The Juvenile Divisions ASD program supports youth and families who are court ordered onto community-based Electronic Home Monitoring (EHM). This is an exciting opportunityto join King County government and play an essential role in our vision to provide the best in trauma-informed carein a juvenile detention facility. If the individuals selected are currently or have been previously employed with DAJD or King County will go through a complete personnel file review including performance evaluations and disciplinary records. A valid Washington State Drivers License or alternate ability to travel around the County is required by the time of hire.
WORK SCHEDULE:This position will work a 40-hour work week and is overtime eligible. StandardworkhoursareMondaythroughFriday8:00a.m. 5:00p.m.
WORK LOCATION:The individual selected for this position will work within a secure juveniledetentionsettingandwillbeassignedtothe Judge Patricia H. Clark .

Term Limited Temporary & Special Duty Assignments: This position is scheduled to last through August 2026; however the exact duration may end earlier or be extended based on operational needs. Rate of pay will be in accordance with applicable bargaining agreements and/or Career Service Guidelines. Special Duty Assignments do not confer any privilege right of appeal or right of position transfer demotion promotion or reinstatement and can be revoked at any time with or without cause.
