Job Description
Are you passionate about inspiring peopleto be the best they can be Then join us! We are searching for a full time Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor-Intern with 2000 hours for our Houston SBIRT program. This position is Mon -Friday 8- 5:00. Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
Our Houston locationprovides substance use services to peopleages 12 to 80. We primarily serve Hispanic clients.
Qualifications Include:
LCDC or LCDC-I in good standing Texas andprevious experience counselingin thesubstanceuse field. Valid Texas Driver License and clear driving record. Drug screen and background check required.
Skills
Ability to professionally communicate maintain calm in tense situations organize write well for client documentation ability to build rapport with our clientsand inspire them to build confidence and leadership skills by demonstrating it yourself. Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or crisis.
