Job Description
Job Summary (List Format):
- Hybrid local role; 6 month contract
- Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience
- Technical expertise in Ansible Docker AWS Kubernetes and Python
- Skilled in writing Dockerfiles and Kubernetes YAML from scratch
- Able to develop Ansible automation playbooks
- Proficient with Jenkins (plugins pipeline as code with Groovy)
- Strong knowledge of Linux (compute networking storage SQL/NoSQL databases)
- Experience with highly available IT operations (fault-tolerance zero-downtime deployments scalability)
- Familiarity with networking VPNs compute infrastructure firewalls load balancers
- Source control using Git build tools (Maven Gradle)
- Scripting skills in Python Golang and Bash
- Experience with large-scale multi-cloud deployments
- Excellent communication and teamwork with Dev QA and SRE teams
- Bonus: Knowledge of HashiCorp stack (Nomad Consul Vault)
- Experience delivering CI/CD pipelines (especially Jenkins)
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code (Ansible CloudFormation Terraform)
- Understanding of security best practices and secure architecture
- Familiarity with CD tools like Spinnaker Concourse (nice to have)
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements and build infrastructure/tooling
- Provide technical guidance and architectural insight to development QA and SRE teams
- Solve complex problems with open-source and in-house tools for security and business goals
- Build applications/tools to reduce barriers and speed up product delivery
- Scale and promote technologies to support growth projections
- Evangelize and experiment with next-generation cloud and DevOps products/processes
