About the Role:

As a Junior Multi Line Claims Specialist youll be at the heart of our claims operations taking ownership of both first and third-party claims across a diverse and evolving portfolio. From Property Energy & Construction to Professional Indemnity Casualty Directors & Officers and Cyber this role offers exposure to a wide range of claims. With the Dutch Branchs strong appetite for growth further expansion into new lines is on the horizon.

Our focus is on the upper market handling Co-Insurance business both nationally and internationally. Youll collaborate with a broad network of stakeholders including international brokers adjusters and legal experts as well as internal teams such as Underwriting Actuarial and fellow claims professionals across Everests global branches.

Key Accountabilities:

• Customer- and solution-oriented processing of multiline claims in Property and Energy & Construction.

• Claims handling encompasses all aspects of a claim from beginning to conclusion including fact-finding liability and coverage evaluation reserving evaluation of subrogation opportunities and deriving measures for future loss prevention;

• Efficient and cost-effective claims settlement including responsibility for investigation settlement and litigation costs;

• Documentation of the information received in the claim file as well as in the systems relevant to the claim;

• Regular review of the reserve set taking into account the respective development of the individual case;

• Transparent and comprehensible communication with all internal and external customers involved in the claim in particular policyholders brokers or attorneys

• Cooperation with other internal units to ensure rapid and customer-oriented claims settlement

• Monitoring trends and deriving loss prevention measures

• Assuming other work-related tasks as required.

Knowledge Skills Experience and Abilities

• Bachelors degree preferred with 2 7 years of relevant professional experience

• Fluent level of Dutch and English both written and spoken
