At DEKRA youll have the opportunity to work as a Test Engineer on challenging and diverse projects within the Industrial Components product group. Collaborating with clients from all over the world you will oversee certification processes from start to finish. Each project brings new opportunities to apply yourexpertiseand grow your skills. Additionally youll have thefreedomto shape this role your way andwhen necessaryvisit international laboratories!
Responsibilities
Coordinating the work of our test engineers and ensure that all necessary tests are conducted correctly;
Preparing technical quotations and test plans managing budgets documenting results and reporting progress;
Interpreting and applying standards and regulations to ensure compliance with safety requirements;
Analyzing test results and delivering accurate reliable reports;
Writing and reviewing test reports with clear conclusions and recommendations;
Communicating proactively with clients: sharing technical insights and project updates while building strong relationships and mutual trust;
Your main focus will be on LV panelboards switchboards switchgear and motor control centers as per standards UL 67 UL 891 UL 1558 and UL 845. Knowledge of UL 508 UL 857 UL 50 and other related UL standards is a plus.
Your profile
Strong technical aptitude preferably with experience in testing and certification.
Experience in testing and managing projects in a technical environment with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Clear and professional communication skills at all levels.
Experience in an (electro)technical environment is a plus.
Proficiency in English both spoken and written.
Flexibility problem-solving skills and a collaborative team spirit.
