Job Description Summary
Customer Interface Electrical Engineer performs plant integration and coordination related to electrical design scope with good communication with multiple disciplines considering the quality/cost/time delivery criteria of the project.

He/ she participates in planning of design activities and design review ando also identifies manages the electrical related technical interfaces on complex large project. He/she will be the focal point of both internal and customer interfaces for technical discussion of related to electrical design and installation/commissioning activities on site. He/she is responsible of delivering in respect of the QCD the electrical design deliverables to the customer.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Working in collaboration with the onshore/offshore project engineering teams especially Customer Interface Project Engineering Manager and Project Engineering Director.

- Knowledge of reviewing engineering documents such as general arrangements (equipment) schematics and connecting diagrams cable schedules related technical documentation from suppliers technical documentation as the output for the sourcing team (e.g. LV cable technical specification/requirements).
- BOP(LV AC/DC)LV
- Knowledgeable in electrical protection systems Balance of plant (LVAC DC and UPS distribution systems) safety Interlocking systems electrical components (e.g. transformer circuit breaker reactor surge arrester and LV cubicles) and engineering requirements.
- Knowledge of international standards (IEC IEEE ISO etc) and the Japanese local design codes and regulations (e.g. Technical Criteria of METIs regulation under the Electricity Business Act)

- Shall be responsible for managing technical communication from/to the client and GEs suppliers in relation with Electrical Design and share them with teams in Europe.
- Willing to travel in Japan and overseas.

Minimum Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering- Knowledge of Japanese grid code is preferred.
