We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Lead to oversee HR operations across the APAC region streamline processes and drive compliance with local regulations. This role will act as a key connector between APAC the US and EMEA ensuring alignment with global initiatives.
What Youll Do:
- Provide leadership guidance and development to a geographically distributed HR Operations team while focusing on high-performance and collaboration
- Build regional roadmaps for the operations function including payroll benefits and Workday enhancements that roll up into global HR Operations objectives
- Manage end-to-end HR processes including payroll onboarding offboarding lifecycle changes payroll administration benefits employee queries and data management. Provide back up on day to day operational coverage regionally as needed
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws data privacy regulations and company policies across APAC locations
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes enhancing employee experience and operational efficiency
- Support global mobility processes for inbound and outbound transfers within APAC including short-term & long-term assignments and direct transfers
- Partner with global teams on HR system (particularly Workday) testing integrations and global process alignment
- Collaborate with regional counterparts to drive cross-regional HR initiatives and policy harmonization
Skills Youll Need:
- 8 years of HR operations experience including leadership roles
- Expertise in Workday are required with an emphasis on utilizing HR technology to automate processes
- Knowledge of APAC employment laws
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Fluency in Mandarin required
- Ability to travel to regional and global offices as needed
