About the organisation
He Waka Tapu is a Kaupapa Mori organisation who have been supporting individuals and the community for 30 years. He Waka Tapu works to increase the health and wellbeing of Whnau.
About the role
This role is crucial in providing support to young people who are seeking positive life changes helping to prevent further family violence and guiding them towards positive pathways.
The Rangatahi kaimahi will build strong trusting relationships with rangatahi and their whnau co-facilitating Kaupapa mori based programmes that support rangatahi to reflect heal and develop new behaviours grounded in accountability respect and growth.
