Energy Research Institute @ NTU () invites applications for the position of Research Engineer II.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in development of lithium-ion battery pack design
Prepare design scheme according to system requirements on electric thermal structural performance
Participate in development of advanced battery thermal management technology
Skillfully use computational software to conduct multiphysical numerical analysis and model built-up for battery system
Prepare technical requirements and design verification standards according to system requirements
Literature review on equipment standards and specifications prepare technical requirement documents
Conduct virtual design verification for the thermal performance of developed thermal management system
Responsible for preparing 2D and 3D mechanical drawings as well as animation
Responsible for preparing design progress document and final report
Job Requirements:
Candidate that possesses at least a masters degree in thermodynamics electric and electrical engineering mechanical engineering or similar is preferable.
Research or working background in lithium-ion battery product development and production is preferable.
Familiar with CAD software like SolidWorks; and CAE simulation software like COMSOL and ANSYS.
Understand development progress of battery system product
Self-motivated and takes initiative
Independent and can work well with a team
Organized and detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferable to have good communication skills and bilingual capability in Chinese and English for research purposes
