DescriptionFluke is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our Americas Fulfillment Center. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 60 individuals including direct reports of 2 front line managers and 1 business systems analyst. The Operations Manager will ensure the efficient and effective operation of the fulfillment center optimizing processes to meet service level agreements and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of fulfillment associates assign tasks monitor performance and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Inventory Control: Oversee the receiving storage and management of inventory levels ensuring accuracy and minimizing stock discrepancies.
- Order Processing: Monitor the order fulfillment process from receiving customer orders to picking packing and shipping ensuring timely and accurate order completion.
- Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations including workflow improvements space utilization and process automation.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to prevent errors during picking packing and shipping ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like order accuracy shipping time and productivity to identify areas for improvement.
- Cost Management: Manage warehouse expenses including labor costs shipping costs and inventory carrying costs.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations shipping guidelines and other relevant compliance standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Operations Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fulfillment center or warehouse management role.
- Proven track record of managing large teams and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of inventory control order processing and quality assurance.
