Description of Work



**Position is eligible for a hybrid-teleworking schedule to include weekly onsite work hours**


The NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in collaboration with its partners protects the health and safety of all North Carolinians and provides essential human services.

The Division of Services for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing (DSDHH) assures equal access to North Carolina citizens who are Deaf Hard of Hearing and Deaf-Blind.

This Administrative Associate IIposition is with the Division of Services for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing and is located in the Regional position is responsible for providing a comfortable office environment for individuals who are deaf hard of hearing or deaf-blind.


Job responsibilities include the following but not limited to:


  • Responsible for training in-house office procedures for new regional center staff
  • Handles end of day closing processes for the regional center
  • Knowledge of the programs and operations of the division that are essential to appropriately route visitors and callers
  • Responsible for logistics and taking minutes associated with meetings
