Job Description

The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on human-like traffic simulation with the focus of modeling traffic behaviors from large-scale real-world datasets.

  • The work will involve traffic scene representation behavior modeling with common sense and prediction generating road layouts initializing states of traffic agents rendering in physical simulators and experimental validation.

Job Requirements:

  • At least have a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering Robotics Mechatronics Automation and Control Engineering Artificial Intelligence (AI) etc.

  • Relevant working experience will be preferred.

  • Strong background in autonomous driving simulator AI and automation.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and facilitate projects with minimal supervisiont

  • Able to contribute to Journal/Conference papers with good presentation skills

  • Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines.
