Description of the role:
As a Cook at Trotwood Health & Rehab LLC in Dayton OH you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our residents in a healthcare setting. You will work alongside our dietary team to ensure that food is prepared according to dietary guidelines and meets our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking meals according to menu and dietary requirements
- Following food safety standards and guidelines
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen area
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Collaborating with dietary team to meet resident needs
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a cook in a healthcare or similar setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
