DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- Cash Management - Manage incoming and outgoing cash effectively. Follow standard procedures to improve in cash collections fund transfer cash disbursement and inter department reporting.
- Payables & Disbursement - Payables are processed and set up on a daily basis. Entries on vouchers are accurate. Completeness of documents and proper approval of payables for payment are ensured. Bills are paid on time. Instructions to the bank on the release of payment are accurate.
- Reports - Cash requirements and cash position through analysis of budgetary need was projected close to actual.
- Administration Files and Record
- Receivables & Collection - Official/provisional receipts are issued timely and accurately for all funds received. Receipts are recorded to SAP timely and accurately. Any cash/check received is deposited intact on the date of receipt or the next banking day. Receivables due on the following week are reminded on a weekly basis. Funds received are confirmed to customers including payment application as soon as credited to our account.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of bachelors degree (B.S) Accounting or any related business course.
- Approximately two (2) years of work experience in Accounts Payable in a growing manufacturing company with a global customer base.
Skills
- Knowledge in SAP and Oracle is a plus.
- Highly proficient in MS Office applications.
