Hiring Data Analyst in Japan! Looking for Japan based applicants
Data Analyst
Company Overview
This is a leading cross-border payment gateway for Japan. We help thousands of merchants by providing them with the payment infrastructure they need through developer-friendly APIs to integrations on popular platforms.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights that inform business decisions.
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends patterns and opportunities for process improvements or new business initiatives.
Develop and maintain dashboards reports and data visualizations that help teams monitor key metrics and performance.
Ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity across all reports and analysis.
Work closely with the Engineering team to improve data collection processes and ensure reliable data pipelines.
Implement access controls where necessary to manage sensitive data and comply with internal policies
Experience and Qualifications
3 years of experience in data analysis
Conduct data analysis and present findings to stakeholders in clear manner.
Strong background in data analysis with knowledge of SQL.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker Excel) to develop insightful reports and dashboards.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
Experience working with large datasets and understanding data integrity and validation processes.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with programming languages used for data analysis (e.g. Python R).
Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
Knowledge of data warehousing and cloud platforms
Experience with data governance practices to ensure data quality and consistency across the organization.
