Full Job Description:Certified Athletic Trainer and Compliance Specialist

Grade: Business Grade 08 BG-08

Tulsa Public Schools existing salary schedules provide career increment adjustments based on education/experience and/or years of creditable service. Position Summary: The Certified Athletic Trainer/Compliance Specialist will serve as a keymember of the district athletics team responsible for ensuring that all coaches and athleticprograms remain in full compliance with local state and national regulations. This position willmanage the implementation monitoring and documentation of mandatory certifications trainingrequirements and eligibility protocols for all athletic addition to compliance oversight the coordinator will leverage their athletic trainingbackground to support health and safety initiatives across the district. This includes reviewingemergency action plans assisting with medical clearance procedures and advising on injury
prevention and return-to-play protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:

Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in sports medicine or relatedfield
Experience:

Five (5) years experience working with coaches and athletes as a certified athletictrainer
Specialized Knowledge Licenses Etc.:

Possess or ability to obtain and maintain an Athletic Trainers Certification by theNational Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State ofOklahoma (LAT) within 180 days of hire
Member in good standing with the Oklahoma Athletic Trainers Association
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Proficient in Rank One software
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Teacher Certification is a plus
Physical Requirements:

Ability to push pull and lift up to 100lbs.
