You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe SVM Cybersecurity Specialist and Systems Administrator is responsible for establishing implementing and operating security standards that align with applications system or campus policies. This position will work with the SVM CIO and Director of Information Technology. This position is expected to work independently while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with faculty staff and students.
Installs configures monitors tunes and troubleshoots network- and desktop operating systems and other system software on hardware-based and virtual systems.
Conducts investigations of emerging threats and incorporates improvements into security risk assessments processes and procedures
Consults and advises faculty about hardware and software appropriate to departments research instruction and administrative needs.
Minimum salary is $95824 annually. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
Bachelors Degree - Preferred Minimum
