We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow an engineering team in Thailand. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong expertise in engineering design manufacturing processes and project execution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SolidWorks be capable of mentoring engineers and ensure high-quality manufacturable designs that align with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and actively participating in engineering design ensuring accuracy using SolidWorks.
- Developing reviewing and optimizing designs for manufacturability and compliance with ASTM ISO and customer specifications.
- Leading and mentoring the engineering team fostering a culture of precision accountability and continuous learning.
- Conducting feasibility studies risk assessments and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Ensuring self-checking processes within the team to identify and resolve design errors before production.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals and international expansion.
- Supporting installation teams and providing technical guidance to ensure quality execution and problem resolution.
- Overseeing post-installation evaluations verifying durability accuracy and aesthetic quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 510 years of experience in design manufacturing or installation (preferably in acrylic plastics or related industries).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks capable of designing optimizing and training others.
- Strong problem-solving leadership and mentoring skills.
- Fluency in English essential for international collaboration.
- Experience with FEA software ISO 9001 CNC machining and thermoforming is a plus.
