POSITION OVERVIEW
The core mission of the Project Manager is to ensure and maintain a high-level end-to-end project implementation phase. The goal is to create and manage the execution of project plans revising them as necessary to meet the changing needs and requirements of the project. The individual will serve as the leader in managing the execution and/or transition of new and established processes as well as the agreed-upon workflows scope of work and implementation plan whether originating from the client or created internally with the assistance of project stakeholders.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
Project Management and Coordination
  • Prepares the project proposal under the assistance as well as supervision of the Head of Operations and/or Sales & Business Development management.
  • Develops implementation schedule and resource allocation plan.
  • Manages overall customer and vendor relationships and satisfaction during all phases of the implementation and standard delivery process.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Product Compliance Tech Operations Customer Support) and external partners (card schemes processors networks).
  • Manage risks resolve issues and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Track KPIs and provide reporting on project performance card issuance metrics and operational efficiency.
  • Maintains documentation relevant to project implementation.
Internal
  • Works closely with Business Development Managers the Head of Operations and Account Managers to ensure that internal processes and client-facing documents are current and aligned with corporate goals.
  • Verifies consultants are upholding internal processes to ensure consistent operations.
  • Identifies and secures resources as needed to provide a prompt response to client issues raised during the implementation phase.
  • Works with Training Technology Product and Business Development teams to ensure client needs and expectations are met.
  • Manages the activities of external agencies (if needed) involved in the implementation.
Time Allocation / Prioritization
  • Prioritizes project issues activities and ongoing deployments
  • Develops and coordinates all implementation schedules and resource allocation across all product implementation teams.
Other Tasks
  • Develops strong expertise in the field of the service supported including the tools to be used.
  • Performs other official work as instructed by the immediate supervisor/manager.
  • Extends work hours when needed.
WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE
Professional Background
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in project management ideally within core banking digital banking or FinTech-related environments.
  • Proven success in delivering software implementation or migration projects in financial services or technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with core banking platforms such as Temenos Finacle Flexcube or Mambu is highly advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira Asana MS Project Trello).
  • Strong grasp of SDLC principles and project methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Project management certifications (PMP PRINCE2 or Scrum Master) are preferred
Educational Background
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration Engineering or related disciplines that foster analytical rigor and strategic problem-solving.
  • Relevant advanced certifications or coursework in project management core banking platforms or digital transformation methodologies are a plus.
