In our Operations Finance department we are responsible for budget preparation cost accounting management and performance analysis at the factory. In order to be a pioneer in the semiconductor industry utilizing the latest technology in the midst of rapid change we are required to 1) manage budget preparation with high efficiency and high turnover 2) analyze performance based on the budget and provide feedback to the field.We are currently recruiting a Financial Analyst for our Hiroshima factory especially for the grant related work in this time.
Responsibilities
Prepare documents to be submitted to the Grant office respond to audits negotiate with the office and provide feedback to each department. Other support from the financial perspective.
1. Prepare grant applications from business plans/manage plan changes
2. Trace the status of grants prepare payment forecasts/perform billing
3. Work with each department to manage and forecast equipment purchases and research expenses
4. Prepare business plans from mid- to long-term investment and production information
5. Prepare documents for the grant being applied for and undergo audits by the office
In the future there is the opportunities for the job rotation to the other operation finance function.
Quarterly budget planning.
Monthly performance analysis (compared to the previous months performance and budget) and feedback to each department.
Other support from an accounting perspective for the responsible departments.
1. Collaboration with each department to plan budgets manage performance and forecast costs
2. Equipment investment and depreciation planning along with performance analysis
3. Analyzing the impact of production plans and performance on costs
4. Budget planning and performance management for research and development expenses
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or experience in accounting (semi-recent college graduates are welcome)
Bachelor Degree or relevant experience
Excellent Japanese language communication skills
Nice to have
Above beginner level English proficiency
Experience working at a consulting firm accounting firm or as a certified public accountant
Second-level bookkeeping certification
