You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Climate Transformation Programme (CTP) aims to develop inspire and accelerate knowledge-based solutions and educate future leaders to establish the stable climate and environment necessary for resilient just and sustainable Southeast Asian societies.
CTP will generate knowledge and innovation across disciplines including climate and Earth science ecology materials science artificial intelligence humanities social sciences and the arts finance health and engineering. It will also translate state-of-the-art scientific results into real world solutions for Singapore and it will transfer these solutions to Southeast Asia (SEA) and beyond.
As part of this programme Climate and human health will predict the future impacts of climate change on human health. For more information please visit Project Officer will be based in the Earth Observatory of Singapore and will be responsible for generating 5-dimensional simulated regional climate and air quality data sets for SEA for present and future and also the database for detailed exposure estimations and health assessments and developing population mitigation strategies for protecting cardiac/respiratory/mental health. Additionally the role will support the coordination and daily management of the research project ensuring the smooth and timely execution of all project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Generating 5-dimensional simulated regional climate and air quality data set for SEA for present and future; database for detailed exposure estimations and health assessments
Developing population mitigation strategies for protecting cardiac/respiratory/mental health.
Supporting communications among team members and partners managing logistics and assisting with reporting budgeting and documentation.
Job Requirements:
A Bachelors degree in Project Management Environmental Science Public Health or related disciplines
At least 3 years of relevant experience in project management
Excellent organizational multitasking and communication skills
As position requires stakeholder engagement in English candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g. Excel Teams)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team
Familiarity with research grant management and reporting is an advantage
