The role

The Policy and Project Officer role undertakes and provides support for the development and implementation of policies and projects and contributes to the provision of policy advice. The role also undertakes Branch policy and related projects to inform decision making relating to the use and management of land and natural resources in NSW.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become part of a small dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and a shared commitment to bettering outcomes to and for Aboriginal Communities in NSW. What you will bring to the role

  • Demonstrated experience in policy development and project management
  • Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture land rights and native title principles
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to work sensitively and respectfully with Aboriginal communities
