Description
Lead Technicians perform maintenance duties on engines and airframes. They are tasked with training technicians and ensuring that they carry out the processes set forth by TES in a safe and efficient method. They are expected to provide input to the engine program director regarding technician performance and training needs. They will act as a back up to the Maintenance Manager.
Primary Duties
- All duties of a Level 3 Technician
- Supervise technicians and provide technical assistance
- Develop processes and methods for lean work flow
- Audit remote facilities / technicians
- Interact with customers
- Open work orders
- Schedule Technician jobs
- Approve time and make corrections in T-Sheets
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications;
- High school diploma
- A&P Certificate
- Ability to read write and speak English
- Able to interpret technical publications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Able to lift 75 lbs.
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Personal tools are required
