Job Description
Plans coordinates and heads working groups in the development planning and execution of Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) programs projects and activities. Interfaces with stakeholders identifies and understands their program goals and needs and develops best-value solutions. Develops systems integration solutions and extends system models using existing requirements interface documentation and related design and systems engineering documents working with commercial MBSE tools.
Responsibilities
- Participatein integrating or converting from document-based to model-based architectures and participates in restructuring existing models
- Collaboratewith the engineering and interdisciplinary research team contributeto and supporting the development of reference or system-level architectures for acquisition or operational systems
- Managethe execution of the systems engineering process including interfaces key performance parameters and operational concepts
- Develop update and maintainMBSE training and tool integration based on programmatic needs; and provideguidance and mentorship for MBSE tools and processes
- ProvideMBSE expertise and related support to the entire systems engineering team; and communicatewith program leaders including Chief Engineers System Architects and Program Managers
