What will you do

Within Risk Management the Model Validation team is responsible for three key areas:

  • Validation of Business Critical Models: The team validates all business-critical models within the bank used for valuation pricing or risk assessment such as IRRBB IFRS9 and IRB models;
  • Development and Maintenance of Policies and Standards: The team helps develop and maintain the banks model risk-related policies and standards.

If you prefer to focus on validation-related activities you will gain exposure to almost all financial products in the bank through the validation of our most important models. You will interact intensively with all departments providing support for valuations pricing and risk assessments. To do this effectively you will need to understand the business which means being in direct contact with the business and other risk teams. Your opinions will be valued and your recommendations will be followed by model owners and the business.
