Who You Are
You will be immersed in the Engineering product design and development environment and will work with other experts on the team to carry out systems engineering activities from concept requirements design development and testing of state-of-the art Power Electronics Power Conversion high voltage and high voltage X-ray Generators for various medical and industrial applications.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for creating and managing system derived and decomposed requirements.
- Capture Stakeholder Expectations (customer requirements)
- Develop System level requirements and allocate them to architecture elements (system hardware software)
- Support the development of hardware & software requirements
- Support the development of interface control documents
- Support the development of verification test plans & procedures
- Generate and maintain a Requirements Verification Matrix
- Coordinate design and validation requirements changes deviations & waivers
- Support the development and review of design documents
- Work collaboratively with engineering teams (firmware software hardware testing and mechanical engineering) to develop overall solution test plans and procedures
What You Need
- BSEE or MSEE or a degree in closely related fields
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering role
- Experience in requirements development verification and validation
- Power Electronics & power conversion experience a major plus:
- Understanding of basic converter topologies.
- Understanding of analog circuits.
- Familiarity with digital electronics
- Experience designing switch mode power suppliers a plus
- Knowledge and experience (preferred) in highly regulated industries
- Knowledge and experience (preferred) in power systems technical requirements and certification processes and requirements (industrial )
- Experience with applicable engineering tools and systems (system modeling and requirements management tools for instance)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to contribute and lead in a team environment
- Experience in program or project leadership in an engineering environment
- Hands-on experience (design verification troubleshooting and bench work).
- Circuit simulation skills are a plus (Cadence desirable).
- FEA skills are a plus
- Well organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Energy and enthusiasm
- Self-motivated with problem solving and decision-making skills
Our good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $117000 - $143000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and other addition base pay we offer a full benefits package.
