An intern in Consulting SAP at PwC typically works as part of a team that helps clients implement and manage SAP software systems. SAP (Systems Applications and Products) is a leading enterprise resource planning software used by businesses worldwide to manage business operations and customer relations.
As an intern you might be involved in the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Project Support:Assisting in various phases of project delivery including planning design implementation testing and support of SAP solutions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyzing client data to understand business requirements and assist in developing SAP solutions. You might also be involved in generating reports and dashboards.
- Configuration and Customization:Helping with the configuration and customization of SAP modules to meet client-specific business processes and requirements.
- Documentation:Preparing documentation for processes configurations and user guides. This includes contributing to project documentation and assisting in maintaining project records.
- Client Interaction:Supporting client workshops meetings and presentations. You may also assist with gathering client requirements and providing feedback to the project team.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:Assisting in the testing phases to ensure that the SAP system meets client needs and is functioning correctly before go-live.
- Learning and Development:Participating in training sessions to build your knowledge of SAP solutions and consulting methodologies. This is often a key component of an internship to enhance both technical and soft skills.
- Team Collaboration:Working closely with team members including consultants senior consultants and managers to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
Interns are usually expected to be proactive eager to learn and able to work effectively in a team environment. The role can provide valuable experience in both technical and consulting skills offering insights into the consulting industry and SAP systems.
